ISRC Codes in Nigeria

Country code: NG — Assigned by IFPI Secretariat (no designated national agency)

About ISRC in Nigeria

Nigeria has the largest music industry in Africa, driven by the global rise of Afrobeats and Afropop. As of writing, Nigeria does not have a designated national ISRC agency — Nigerian labels and producers can apply directly to the IFPI Secretariat for a registrant code, or use a digital distributor that assigns ISRCs automatically. The NG prefix identifies recordings issued in Nigeria.
