About ISRC in United States

The United States is one of the largest markets for recorded music in the world. ISRC codes with the US country prefix are assigned through the RIAA, which serves as the national ISRC agency. American record labels, distributors, and independent artists can apply for a registrant code through the RIAA to begin issuing their own ISRC codes for sound recordings and music videos.
