Privacy Policy

Short version: ISRC Tools collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no cookies, and nothing you paste into the validator or lookup ever leaves your browser.

What We Don't Collect

• No accounts. ISRC Tools has no sign-up, login, or user profiles.
• No tool data. The validator, lookup, and format tools run client-side in your browser. The ISRC codes you paste are never sent to, stored on, or logged by any server.
• No cookies. This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking.

Analytics

We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service, to count page views and tool usage in aggregate. Fathom does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and complies with GDPR, ePrivacy, PECR, and CCPA. We can see that someone validated a code; we can never see who, or what the code was.

Sponsorship payments

If you book a sponsor slot, Stripe processes the payment. Company name, link, and optional logo URL are collected on Stripe Checkout so the rail card can go live. Stripe's privacy policy covers that checkout. We do not store card numbers.

Outbound Links

Links to external sites (including our own related projects) may include UTM parameters so we can see, in aggregate, that a visit came from ISRC Tools. External sites have their own privacy policies.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Netlify, which may log standard web server request data (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
