ISRC Tools is a free set of browser-based tools for validating and looking up International Standard Recording Codes. By using this site you agree to these terms.

The Service

ISRC Tools provides a validator, lookup, format guide, and platform-specific finders. The tools run client-side in your browser, are free to use, and require no account.

Not an official ISRC agency

ISRC Tools is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by IFPI or any national ISRC agency. We do not issue registrant codes or assign ISRCs. Agency names and country codes are published for reference only.

No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Always verify a code against your distributor or national agency before using it in a release.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ISRC Tools and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site.

Acceptable Use

Don't use this site to do anything unlawful, don't attempt to disrupt or overload it, and don't present output from these tools as an official assignment from IFPI or a national agency.

Sponsorship

Paid rail slots are subscriptions billed by Stripe. You can cancel at period end from the billing portal on the sponsor page. We may refuse or remove a placement that competes with this site, promotes crypto, or would sit badly next to the other cards.

This site links to external sites, including related projects by the same team. Those sites have their own terms and policies.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
