DistroKid is one of the most popular digital music distributors, and it automatically assigns ISRC codes to every track you upload. You can also bring your own ISRC if you already have one. Finding your ISRC in DistroKid is straightforward once you know where to look.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Log in to your DistroKid account at distrokid.com.
Click on the release you want to check from your dashboard.
In the release details view, each track will have its metadata displayed.
Look for the ISRC code listed alongside each track's information.
If you uploaded your own ISRC, it will be the one you provided. Otherwise, DistroKid assigned one automatically.

Tips

DistroKid assigns ISRCs automatically during the upload process — you don't need to obtain one separately.
If you want to use your own ISRC (e.g. one assigned by your national agency), you can enter it during the upload process.
Once an ISRC is assigned in DistroKid, it cannot be changed. Contact DistroKid support if there's an issue.
If you're transferring a release from another distributor, use the same ISRC to maintain streaming counts.
